Job Title: WordPress Developer – six2eight – September 2025
Job Type: Full-Time, Remote
Working Hours: 2 PM to 11 PM (Bangladesh Standard Time)
Salary Range: BDT 50,000 – 80,000 (depending on experience and skills)

Key Responsibilities:

Custom Theme Development:

  • Develop custom WordPress themes tailored to client specifications.
  • Ensure themes are responsive, optimized, and cross-browser compatible.
    Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Vanilla JavaScript and WP-Script.
  • Strong knowledge of Tailwind CSS and the ability to implement designs using it.
  • Experience with Headless WordPress architecture and integration.
    Modern WordPress Understanding:
  • Proficiency in building and customizing Gutenberg blocks.
  • Solid understanding of React.js for creating dynamic and user-friendly interfaces.
    Backend Development:
  • Strong experience with PHP for WordPress development.
  • Clear understanding of WordPress hooks, actions, and filters.
  • Ability to optimize WordPress sites for performance and security.

Problem Solving:

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in a timely manner.
  • Implement best practices for WordPress development and maintenance.

Additional Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in WordPress development or similar roles.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing previous WordPress projects.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a remote team environment.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git or Bitbucket.
  • English must be excellent in writing, speaking, and listening.
