• Automattic acquires an ActivityPub plugin so blogs can join the Fedivers. Automattic is the new owner of the ActivityPub for WordPress plugin and has also recruited its developer to come work for the company, according to Automattic CEO Matt Mullenweg.

• Brand New Release: Gravity Forms 2.7.3 With a number of additions and fixes including CSS API global custom properties & specifying of the various max border-radius sizes.
• ACF v6.1.0-beta1 is now available with all new custom post type and taxonomy registration. ACF announce the first beta release of ACF PRO 6.1.
• According to Sarah Gooding at WP Tavern, the investment will be used to accelerate the growth of Equalize Digital’s Accessibility Checker plugin, a tool for auditing websites for WCAG, ADA, and Section 508 accessibility errors.
